Infinite Minigunner
Sell any building, but before the selling animation sequence is over stop the sell, the building remains on its place, but all your minigunners are out. You can repeat this cheat infinitely! NOTE: This works only on the guard tower and ONLY in the DEMO.

Money Stream
When you sell three refineries right after each other, the money you get keeps going up till the end of the mission. You can get as much as $20 000 000 if you’re lucky. It can’t have been saved within a half hour though.

Good Deal
After selling a defencive building, press S and you will get the building and the mini gunners.

Sandbag Cheat
Build a sand bag and move the unit as close to the sand bag as you can. Click on the sell button. Move the cursor over to the sand bag. Move the twirling dollar sign as far away from the sand bag and toward the unit as you can. While its spinning near the unit click to sell him.

Sell Vehicles
If you put a unit on the repair pad (no infantry, of course), click sell, and move the cursor over the unit, a little green $ will appear. You can sell the unit for half-price.

This is great for getting some money when you are done with one side of a map and a river seperates you from the rest. Instead of abandoning all, sell them and cross the river with a Transport Helicoptor with a Engineer – capture an enemy building and build all around it. Now you have a new base.

Cheat menu
In any drop menu, hold backspace and type K,Y,L,E. You will see a menu called cheats, and you will be fully revived.

Eight lives
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “hector”.

Curve gun
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “nice box”.

Machine gun
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “squish”.

Skip level
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “morrison”.

Hidden message
Type “X” at the title screen.

Move through mushrooms
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “djarum”.

Destroy surrounding mushrooms
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “nuke em”.

50,000 additional points
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “pernts”.

5,000 additional bonus points
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “usmc”.

Enable high scores while cheats are activated
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “scumdog”.

Padlock
Press [Caps Lock] during game and type “snapple”.

Cheat Menu
Hold down the “control” key and type WIN and you’ll receive a “cheats” menu.

Unlimited Cash
There is a way to rack up unlimited cash in Mission 16. I’m not exactly sure how it works, but I THINK that you can keep killing troops (that jump from the transport) for unlimited cash. They seem to be worth more money if you let them hit the ground first.

Open the file Documents\Civilization 4\CivilizationIV.ini in a normal editor and search for CheatCode = 0 and change this to CheatCode = chipotle and saveÊthe file. Now start the game and open the console by pressing [~]. The game hasÊa lot of commands but only a few are real cheat codes. If you want a listing of all commands type help in the console. The other real cheats are (case sensitive!):

Player.setGold 0 #
Active charakter gets # Gold

Player.setGold x #
The character x gets # Gold.

Game.toggleDebugMode
Reveal map and show infos about enemies.

Graphics.toggleGridMode
Grid mode.
