Cheat codes
When in the game if you write the following things in the message bar where you receive computer messages the following will happen.
SLAG NET
Show all of the map.
WE NEED EQUIPMENT
Gives you 10,000 Petra.
Flying
Just as you start to go up or down a set of stairs, hold down the ‘duck’ key. At the end of the staircase, you’ll be walking approx. Three feet off the ground, in game terms. This requires some careful timing, so it may take a few tries. Be careful, though. You still can’t walk off ledges safely. You can avoid rats and still pick stuff up, however.
Level Select
Hold down option and command while selecting new to start at any level.
Cheat Codes:
To use these cheat codes, you absolutely need version 1.2 or later. If you don’t have it, download the patch. How the codes work: While playing, press and hold the control button while you type the code. If you have the control button set as your trigger, you may run into some problems (codes not working). To solve this, select the bayonnet before using the cheat code. The cheats from hell to nimrod were released by Paranoid Productions at the same time with the v1.2 updater patch. The rest were reported by players who discovered them.
HELL
Give yourself full health.
ARM
Give yourself full armor.
PHISH
Changes your field of view. Try it several times for different settings.
BLUE
Map shows all locations.
GODEYE
Map reveals all locations and shows enemies (green dots) and objects (white dots).
ASD
Make a “super” jump, much larger than a normal jump.
WOO
Give yourself two pistols and all the ammo for them.
FREEDOM
Give yourself two shotguns and all their ammo.
XSE
Give yourself an M16 and all the ammo for it.
AXES
Give yourself all the access cards.
MEDIC
Give your squad members full health.
CHAT
Force a squad member to do a “chit chat”.
NIMROD
Make your squadies rebel against you.
ASLAG
Give yourself all weapons with full ammo and full health.
OXY
Give yourself full oxygen.
VOMIT
Changes your field of view to 170 degree vision. May cause motion sickness in some people.
ACID
You can see in infrared vision.
KLATU
Will freeze all enemies.
KSA
Will kill squad member 1.
KSB
Will kill squad member 2.
KSC
Will kill squad member 3.
KSD
Will kill squad member 4.
HORSE
Give yourself all types of grenades.
DETH
Give yourself a SMAW and full ammo for it.
TOZT
Give yourself a flamethrower and full ammo for it.
VENT
Give youself two MP5N machine guns and full ammo for them.
THRILL
Allows squad members to use all weapons.
HDCS
Can cause certain squad members to become mentally unstable. NOTE: Squad members can become TRAITOR, BERSERK, or SHELL SHOCKED. If they survive at the end of the mission, they cannot be used for the rest of the game. Use this code carefully, as squad members cannot recover once they have lost control of themselves
PHNX
Give squad members full health.
QED
Completes mission objectives; you must still report to an extraction zone.
EXT
Makes the sector you are in count as an extraction zone.
SOIA
Skip current mission.
ATHEIST
Makes you invincible.
Very Hard Network Game
At the Menu, type in Command+M and you will be able to select a network level. Select a level, enter it, and you will find that you can select your people on your team and the network level turns solo. The bad thing is that the level hardness goes to the hardest.
Warp
From the Main Menu select GAME. Hit ALT-F5. Pick JUMP TO and it will show thumbnails of various scenes in the game. Click on one to jump to it.
Skip Puzzle
Try hitting escape when you find a difficult puzzle. Then choose “Extras” and “Ship’s log”, and click the downarrow 15 times. The Screen becomes black for a moment, and the puzzle is completed! If you try this cheat and you’re currently not on a puzzle screen, the program will quit.
